The CEA is
recognized by the IRS and the State of Oregon as a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Non-Profit Public Charity.
The CEA is governed
by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of the annually
elected officers who handle the day-to-day operations.
Elections are held each year in December. Nominations
for officers can come at any time after the Championship
Show in October, but no later than the November Nomination
Meeting. Members who pay for a voting membership, as
well as all Committee Heads (who are granted voting rights)
are included in all decision making processes.
